Nashville, TN, July 23, 2025 – Vibes of India, in collaboration with Shankus Entertainment, proudly announces a grand two-day Navratri celebration at the iconic Nashville Municipal Auditorium. The event will feature live performances by celebrated Gujarati folk artists Ishani Dave on September 6 and Jigardan Gadhavi on September 7.

Presented by Tim Hortons, this Navratri festival is designed to bring together culture, music, devotion, food, and community spirit for Indian families across Tennessee and the Southeastern United States. The celebration aims to recreate the authentic energy of traditional Gujarati Garba and Raas while offering a premium cultural experience in one of Tennessee’s most recognized venues.

According to Mihir Patel, Core Organizer, Navratri 2025, the event represents more than entertainment for the Gujarati community living in the United States. For many families across Nashville, Memphis, Chattanooga, Louisville, Huntsville, and nearby regions, Navratri is a celebration deeply connected to identity, tradition, and togetherness. Through Vibes of India, the organizers aim to create a cultural platform that connects communities with the traditions and spirit of home.

This year’s celebration will feature two of Gujarat’s most loved performers. Ishani Dave is widely known for her soulful Garba renditions and traditional folk performances, while Jigardan Gadhavi has earned global recognition for energetic performances and popular Gujarati songs such as Vhalam Aavo Ne. Their performances are expected to bring a blend of devotion, rhythm, and high-energy Garba music to audiences across both nights of the festival.

Dress Code & Event Guidelines

To preserve the cultural integrity of the celebration, traditional Indian attire will be mandatory for all attendees. Guests are encouraged to wear ethnic outfits such as Chaniya Choli, Kurta Pajama, or Sherwani. Casual western outfits including jeans, shorts, and t-shirts will not be permitted inside the venue.

Attendees are encouraged to carry their digital or printed tickets along with a valid ID and participate respectfully in Garba and Raas activities. Visitors can also explore food stalls, sponsor exhibits, and community activities throughout the event.

Outside food, beverages, alcohol, and tobacco products will not be allowed at the venue. Organizers have also stated that aggressive or unsafe dancing behavior will not be tolerated, and all ticket sales are final without refunds or exchanges.
