Vibes of India in collaboration with Shankus Dandiya Brings a Grand Navratri Celebration to Nashville Sept 26 & 27, 2026

Nashville, TN August 3 2026 – Vibes of India in collaboration with Shankus Events is excited to share that there will be a two-day Navratri event at the famous Nashville Municipal Auditorium. The event will have live performances by a famous Garba singer, Falguni Pathak on Friday, September 25 and a well-known Gujarati folk artist, Ishani Dave on Saturday, September 26.

This event is meant to bring culture, music, devotion, food and community for Indian families in Tennessee and the Southeastern United States. The Navratri festival is meant to bring the energy of traditional Gujarati Garba and Raas, and it will provide a high-quality, large-scale cultural experience in one of the most well-known places in Tennessee.

According to Mihir Patel, Core Organizer, Navratri 2026, the event is more than just fun for the people from the Indian diaspora in the United States. For families in Nashville, Memphis, Chattanooga, Louisville, Huntsville and nearby areas Navratri is a celebration that is closely linked to their identity, traditions and being together. Vibes of India wants to create a space that helps people connect with the traditions and spirit of their home.

This years celebration will have two of the performers, Falguni Pathak, who is known around the world as the “Queen of Garba ” has folk songs and songs from over 30 years and Ishani Dave keeps new audiences with her emotional Garba songs and exciting stage presence.

Ticket Information

Phase 1 early bird tickets for the event are now available. One-day tickets are $35 and a special two-day ticket that covers both nights is $60. The Phase 1 prices are valid until August 15 2026. After that the ticket prices will go up.

Dress Code and Event Rules

To keep the culture of the celebration, traditional Indian clothes are required for all guests. People are encouraged to wear clothes like Chaniya Choli, Kurta Pajama or Sherwani. Casual clothes, like jeans, shorts and T-shirts are not allowed inside the place.

Attendees are required to carry their digital or printed tickets along with a valid ID and participate respectfully in Garba and Raas activities. Visitors can also explore traditional food stalls, sponsor exhibits, and community activities throughout the event.

Outside food, beverages, alcohol, and tobacco products are strictly prohibited at the venue. Organizers have also stated that aggressive or unsafe dancing behavior will not be tolerated, and all ticket sales are final without refunds or exchanges.
